Terms of service

Overview. Thank you for choosing Snowy Hearth Quilting Co! These terms cover your use of our website and services, and by placing an order you agree to them. Snowy Hearth Quilting Co, LLC is based in Montpelier, Idaho.

Ordering and pricing. Your price is based on the quilt size you enter, plus any options you choose. If the measured size of your quilt top is different, we will let you know before we quilt and adjust the price. Prices may change over time, and the price you see when you order is the price you pay.

Payments and deposits. You can pay in full at checkout or pay a 50% deposit to reserve your spot. For deposit orders, we invoice the balance when your quilt is finished and ship it as soon as the balance is paid.

Turnaround. Turnaround times are estimates and start when your quilt arrives.

Shipping to us. Shipping to us is your responsibility, including the cost and the risk, and we recommend tracking and insurance. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged before they reach us. Please send your quilt top and your backing fabric together.

Return shipping. Standard return shipping is free anywhere in the continental U.S. Faster options, and shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, are available at checkout for a shipping and handling charge. See our shipping policy for details.

Care of your quilt. We take great care of your quilt while it is with us, and we carry insurance that covers customers’ quilts while in our care. If your quilt is ever lost or damaged while in our care, we will work with you to make it right. Our responsibility is limited to the reasonable cost to repair or replace your quilt top, batting and backing, plus the quilting labor. It does not include sentimental value.

Quilting results. Longarm quilting is handcrafted, so small variations and minor imperfections can happen. If something isn't right, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll strive to make it right. See our return and refund policy for the details.

Photos. We love to share photos of finished quilts on our website and social media. If you would rather we didn't, just write "no photos" in the additional instructions on your order.

Coupons. Coupons apply to everything except shipping. You can use up to two coupons on one order: one main coupon, plus Refer a Friend. Coupons have no cash value and may be changed or ended at any time.

Unclaimed quilts. If your balance is unpaid, or we have not been able to reach you, for 90 days after your quilt is finished, we will send you written notice. If we still can't work it out together, we may treat the quilt as abandoned, as allowed by law.

Sales tax. We charge Idaho sales tax on orders shipped to Idaho addresses and on local pickup.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
